gcc compiling problems

Hi,

        I'm trying to compile GCC 2.7.0 on my Alpha 1000 Digital Unix 3.2C, and I
get this error about 15 minutes into the first compile: (make LANGUAGES=c)

                ./xgcc -B./ -DIN_GCC -g -I./include -DNO_MEM -DNO_LONG_DOUBLE_IO
-O0 -I. -
                c ./enquire.c
                mips-tfile, /tmp/ccaamqCa.s:0 index 4294967295 is out of bounds for
lstrs, max i
                s 0, mips-tfile.c line# 4643
                *** Exit 1

If I try to recompile it again I get the same error. Is there a binary for
Digital Unix, or a fixed version.

Any help would be great.
