Hi,
I asked the following question:
>Has anyone managed to compile SAMBA on DU4.0,
I got several replies on how to fix the problem of not been able to find
'acl.h' file. The solution to fix this is:
ln -s /usr/include/sys/acl.h /usr/include/acl.h
Still I had no luck in getting Samba to compile to use Enhanced Security in
Digital Unix V4.0. So I tried most of latest versions with out any luck. Just
now I tried the latest 'alpha' release and it compiled without any problems
using Enhanced Security. Since it is a 'alpha' version it may be bugged, but
for now it works fine.
I got it from the following site:
http://lake.canberra.edu.au/pub/samba
and the actual source from:
ftp://samba.anu.edu.au/pub/samba/alpha/
