Hi,
we have a newly installed Alphastation 600 running DU 4.0.
As a non networked machine it ran fine, but after we used the
setup tool to add the networking information the machine hung
booting CDE.

When I telneted in, everything looked to a text session, am
so I witched to xdm(edited rc.config) and rebooted.
The xdm session was perfect; the network is reachable, pings,
telnets etc all normal.

When I changed back to CDE it got to a login screen this time,
but still hung when I tried to log in.

Any ideas? it was fine before the system was network aware

TIA
boc
