Hi,
All of a sudden, my system is having a portmapper failure. Here's the
error message that I received:
Oct 28 12:46:15 heplinux1 portmap[315]: cannot bind udp: Address already in use
Oct 28 23:19:06 heplinux1 portmap[1736]: cannot bind udp: Address already in use
Oct 28 23:19:09 heplinux1 portmap[1738]: cannot bind udp: Address already in use
What would cause this and how would I fix it? The system was fine
yesterday, and all that I messed around with were the /etc/exports and
/etc/hosts.allow files. That too, I didn't make any major changes that
would cause something like this.
Your help is appreciated.
