Hello,
      try as I might I can't get lsof to list open files,
it lists open devices, eg
lsof /usr
COMMAND PID USER FD TYPE DEVICE SIZE/OFF INODE NAME
<snip>
sh          593      boc    1w  VREG   11,      6        211    1352521 /usr (/dev/re0g)
<snip>
httpd     26404    httpd  cwd   VDIR   11,      6       1024     515782 /usr (/dev/re0g)
<snip>
So what gives?, I want to know what FILE is being read or written, the
device name is useless to me (all home directories are on one RAID array).
I would like to be able track "disk leaks", it seems "du" is the
a more usefull tool for this. Have misunderstood?, is there a switch to
fix this?
TIA
boc
