Hi, I'm having trouble adding a terminal description to a DEC Alpha
running Digital Unix 3.2.
I'm trying to add a terminal description for an SGI - iris-ansi-net
On the SGI, I used
% infocmp -Cr iris-ansi-net
to produce an entry that looked like this:
# Reconstructed via infocmp from file: /usr/share/lib/terminfo/i/iris-ansi-net
iris-ansi-net|IRIS connected to a remote host (40 lines):\

I placed this entry in my $HOME/.termcap file but I still get the
message:
iris-ansi-net: Unknown terminal type
running vi or other terminal dependent programs produces a similar
message.
How can I add a terminal type and have it be recognized by the DEC?
I've read termcap's man page on the DEC and it seemed that creating a
$HOME/.termcap file with this entry should mae that terminal type
available.
Thanks for your help,
_jason
