My question:
-----------
I have saved two filesets on the same tape with
/sbin/vdump -0Cf /dev/nrmt0h /usr/users/dir1
/sbin/vdump -0Cf /dev/rmt0h /usr/users/dir2
Now I have to restore a file from /usr/users/dir2.
When I used dump and restore, I had no problem to do
this, but with vdump and vrestore I don't know the way.
Response:
---------
mt -f /dev/nrmt0h fsf 1 ; to position the tape at the beginning
; of the second fileset,
then do a vrestore command.
