[Q]: PING

The PING patch again... I feel ashamed...

I downloaded the ping_plus tar file from the Atlanta site and untarred it.
There came TWO ip_input.o files: one in the directory I was and one in
./350-248/

1) these 2 ip_input.o files don't have the same size. Which one should
   I use?

2) the install.txt says:
"You will need to make sure that you have PATCH ID: OSF350-248 installed
BEFORE this new ip_input.o module is installed."

I've read all the messages concerning the ping patch, but now I'm
confused. I dont't understand what I must do and in which order....
