Theoretically, this should be a simple problem/answer, but it is apparently
not.
I don't want to have to expand /usr just to accommodate NSR. And besides, I
want NSR on its own disk.
At first blush it appears that one could simply create a separate
/usr/opt/nsr and mount it in /usr - wrongo.
It appears that the setld script for NSR checks for the amount of file
space in /usr - period.
Ok, so we employ plan B.
copy /usr/.smdb./ to /local/nsr/usr/.smdb./
setld -D /local/nsr -l /mnt/brx42a/kit
This works fine up to the end of the copying of the software - then the
script simply quits, and fails to continue on with the configuration
section.
I don't really want to have to play the game of - install NSR someplace;
figure out what it's doing; then rebuild the system and re-install NSR where
I want it by hand.
Has anybody already delt with this issue.
