Hi, Managers,
I have PrintServer 17, which was booted from
VMS, using LPS version 4.28. Recently, I've installed a new version
LPS 5.1 on my alpha station with DU 3.2c. Accordingly to the
documentation I saw for booting the printer I have to
use standard tftpd and bootpd servers, not lpsbootd (the main reason:
I use already this services for booting X-terminals). I did everything,
which is necessary in /etc/inetd.conf, in /etc/bootptab, but alas!
It's booting from VMS!!! I don't understand what to do now. I tried
any how to stop booting it from VMS, but even after that the server
was trying to be booted only from VMS machine (it's a VAX) and never
from DU. All suggestions will be summarized. Thanks in advance.
Michael.
