It looks like this was not a trivial question. So far i've got no
serious ideas on how to solve the problem, only a nice joke from Sid
Fagan and a summary request from Sherman Owens (sorry Sherman, no
answers so far).I solved the compiling problem by making a cut-paste
to another file. (This occurred on DU 4.0A)

Hi,
Perhaps a trivial question: Is there any way to unencrypt a
vi-encrypted file ?. Some user encrypted a C source file using the "
:X " subcommand, as a security measure. Now, he modified it and needs
to recompile.
I've tried to open it and then save it with other name, but is always
saved encrypted.
Thanks in advance
