Advfs vrs Ufs

I have been on this list for a short time now and have been following some
of the discussions on the two types of file systems. It seems that Advfs
offers a lot of nice options for disk configurations and for the system
administrator that ufs doesnt. I read last week on here that you dont
want to convert the root partition to AdvFS. Why not? What disadvantages
are there to converting the other partitions to Advfs? Any problems that
I should know about before beginning to convert these? I also use a
rather large database package called Accell SQL which is made by Unify
Corp. Any areas of concern here that you could warn me of? In general do
you recommend that I convert to the Advfs or stay with ufs?

Any comments greatly appreciated, Ill summarize for the list what I
gather as I assume there are others that will be interested as well.

thanks,
