Hi,
Many thanks to Michael A. Renda for the information.
The message from Mike summarizes the problem by itself:
=====================================
Hello,
If you have internet access you can get console frimware newer than what is on
the V3.7 CD and without the 120ns NVRAM anomaly.
With a Web browser please look for the "interim" area on the following Web
page:
http://ftp.digital.com/DEC/Alpha/systems/firmware
Instructions to download and update console firmware are on this Web page.
If you don't have internet access, please send me your name and address and
I can send you console firmware on floppy disk to update your AlphaServer 2100
and 2100A systems. Please specify the complete system name e.g.
AlphaServer 2100 4/275.
Please send e-mail if you need further assistance.
A final note, console firmware on the V3.6 CD was not qualified with Digital
Unix V4.0A.
regards,
Mike Renda
