Dear Managers,

since we installed DEC-Unix V4.0a the Printers which are connected via LAT to
this machine doing some strange:
- printing one sheet => comes out and everything fine
- printing one sheet and immediately the next one => between the jobs are blank
sheets were printed, the last job comes without a blank sheet afterwards.

Due unter DEC-Unix 3.2c everything works fine and from OPENVMS(ALPHA) the
printouts are okay (without blank sheets of paper).

It seems, that unter V4.0a the LAT-Protocal has some problems.

Does anyone have seen this problem? Does any patch exist? Or does anyone have a workaround ?

                        Sincerely, H. Baumgartner
