Hello --

In rsts/e there is a command called force. The syntax is something like this
        $ force (terminal name) (string)

Force causes the (string) to show up on to (terminal name) as if someone
keyed (string) or entered (string) while at (terminal name). Is there a
du / unix equivalent to this sort of thing?

If I were to key
        $ force ttyp4 exit

from a system/root/su account, and ttyp4 was at a os prompt the result
would be as if someone keyed exit onto that device.

Thank you for your time.
