Hi,
I'm stuck and need to resolve this problem before I can leave on holidays.

I am trying to upgrade a DEC 3000 model 400 from DU3.2c to DU4.0A or
in leu of that at least install the October 96 layered products with 3.2c.

I am able to upgrade the firmware( and SROM chip version 2.1 was 1.0).
upon trying to do a full install from CD:
T_ERR_SCSI_CHECK_Media/Device
 84 FAIL

The CD works or I couldn't boot the firmware. I try to mount the layered
products and I get the error:
/dev/rz4c on //cdrom: No valid filesystem exists on this partition

Any help will be greatfully received, and I will post the resolution
once i finally accomplish the upgrade.

Thank you,
Brian
