Unable to delete files "Invalid argument"

Hi,

        We are running Digital UNIX v3.2g, and are unable to delete some files
that exist on an ADVfs partition. All file operations fail, e.g. mv, del,
cp with the error message "Invalid argument". Has anybody else seen this
problem before? Any ideas on a work around?
