Oracle and DUnix block size?

Hello,

We are going to be installing Oracle 7.3 on a new Alpha 2100. It
is running hardware RAID on it too. My question in installing Oracle is
this: In the Reference Addendum booklet with Oracle, in the Tuning
section it talks about setting Oracle block sizes. It says, "On DU, Oracle
has a default block size of 2KB and a max block size of 32KB. The optimal
block size on DU is typically 2KB but varies with the applications."

Is this just talking about Oracle block sizes or about the
filesystem block sizes (bsize) listed in the disklabel of the disk? Is
there anything I have to do with the filesystem disklabel if it is going
to be Oracle database?

Currently, I am using the default SWXCR filesystem bsizes and
haven't done anything to the disklabel.

Thanks in advance for any opinions.
