Problems with printer entry

Hi,
i just added a HP-Laserjet 4MPlus with Jetdirect-card to my printcap.
Postscript works fine, but line printer doesn't make the CarriageReturn
correct:

First line
          the second line should start at the beginning
                                                       the third too

and so on. After some lines the paper keeps blank....

What do I have do add?
I tried to add the outputfilter /usr/lbin/hplaser4psof, but this had no
effect.
