Hello everyone.
I'm trying to get an internal ISA bus modem to work in my DEC 2000-300
machine under DUnix 3.2d. I had trouble getting it to work originally, and
then got it to work, but I don't know what I did! Then after a reinstall
of the operating system, it doesn't work anymore.
I've trie playing with the IRQ and IO port settings, both in the ECU and
on the modem, but I'm not sure what command I have to use to get the
system to recognize the modem. I think that when it was working, it was
somehow piggybacking off of one of the Internal serial ports on the
system, because the it "took over" the /dev/tty01 that was assigned to
that port.
I'd appreciate any suggestions, even if all you can tell me is what I have
to set the modem to to get it to take over /dev/tty01 again.
Thanks
-Ryan
