Hello again!

The question I asked was:

> What system resources would be adversely affected by the addition of
> of more semaphores in our kernel config?
>
> -How would it affect memory??
> -How might it affect system performance???

The only answer I got was from DEC, and not very good either. I was told:

Semaphores don't take up a lot of resources.

Nothing about performance... I'd imagine without semaphores, the database
will work. I guess that's an improvement over it not working.

Karl
