text based tn3270 emulator? [addendum]

Forgot to mention, the alpha managers archive did turn up something from
1994 about a tn3270-4.1.1.tar.Z file supposedly from thor.cs.umass.edu but
the machine no longer accepts anonymous ftp connections. An Altavista
search didn't turn up much useful information.
