I have noticed the following (somewhat annoying) behaviour when using quick
copy to cut and paste from one window to a dxterm window.
(I use to keep a series of commands e.g. in a dxnotepad window, and issue
a bunch of them cutting-and-pasting them into a dxterm where a shell or
application is running).
I use mouse button 1 to select (copy) and double-click on mouse button 2 in
the destination dxterm to paste.
Sometimes (when the selection is longer than a few lines, and the system is
somewhat busy) I hear a bell sound when pasting. The pasting usually is
effective (sometimes only partially), but after that the dxterm is dead.
Clear Communications or Reset Terminal from the "Commands" menu bar do not
restore it. I have to kill it via the File Exit option of the menu bar.
Any idea of an X resource or other mean to bypass this behaviour ?
Ah, I'm on OSF 3.2.
