I am trying to add an Exabyte tape drive onto the SCSI chain of an ALPHAstation
200/100.
If I plug the terminator that came with the tape drive into the second scsi
port on the back of the tape drive, none of the devices on the scsi chain
appear using the >>> sho dev command. If I remove the terminator they all
show up, including the tape drive.
When I try to boot the machine with no terminator on the tape drive I get
all kinds of CAM_ERROR messages and the boot will not continue.
If I remove the tape drive entirely all goes well.
Does anyone know what the problem(s) might be, and if so any possible
solution.
