Print filter...

Hello-

I am looking for a printer filter that I could use with our HP5Si. What I
would like it to be able to do is this:

1. Auto detect Text or PS and if not PS then filter through a2ps or enscript
or something to print it nicely.

2. Print letter pages on Letter paper and 11x17 on 11x17 paper. (currently,
things get printed on whatever was used last or whatever the printer thinks
is the default tray at the time)


That is about all I am looking for. Has anyone done this or know of a
place where I could find such a filter or how to construct such a filter.
