Enhanced security and the adduser command.

Sorry about my previous mail.

I have just started using Enhanced Security on DEC OSF/1 ver. 3.2B and I
seem to have a problem with the adduser command. I have read your
previous mails about the matter and was wondering if you had any feeback
on the following matter.

When I create a template, a user with the template name is add to the
/etc/passwd file. This template user is given an automatic UID of 65,xxx
which implies that when I use the adduser command I get the following
message:

A UID greater then the maximum allowed (60,000) was found,
Exiting /usr/sbin/adduser
New Entry not created.

Are you supposed to add users using the 'adduser' command or should I
just use the GUI XSysAdmin utility? Should I use the 'passwd' command to
change the passwords or should I only use the GUI interface?

I would appreicate a reply. Thankyou.
