One suggestion was to use something called 'srcspool'

Another was to use 'magicfilter'

Another was to set up two queues, one for PS and one for text. That is
what we have now and I would like to get away from that.

I am still looking for a way to get the printer to print on the correct
paper. I believe that the key is getting a setpagedevice command inserted
into the file.

Thanks to all who responded. If anyone else out there has any further
suggestions, please send them along.
