Xdm: Use 2nd video card only

We've just upgraded a 3000/500 machine from DU 3.2A to 4.0B, and are
having trouble with xdm on it. The machine has two video cards; the one
that came with it and a ZLX-M2 card in one of the TurboChannel slots. I
want to run xdm and X normally on the ZLX card, and I want the old card to
be ignored completely (thus the ZLX should be :0.0). How do I setup xdm
to do this?

I can get xdm to run only on the new card (by making
/usr/lib/X11/xdm/Xservers read ":0.1 local /usr/bin/X11/X"), but upon
logging in, you get a two-screen session (one screen per card), which I
don't want. Any ideas?

Another realted question that maybe someone could help with about the ZLX
card (a PMAGC-BA) since the manual seems to have vanished. There is an
additional BNC coaxial output on the card. Does anyone know what kind of
signal is coming out of it?

Thanks
