I would appreciate any help with regards to XWindows basics...
I just instaled a few freeware/evaluation version emulators and managed
to
run them but I am puzzled as far as what is the best method to run these
emulators in extremely slow lines (28.8 modem at home).
I plan to use the emulator while downloading software so that I can take
advantage of a 512kbps line in my server (in Greece) and then download
it
home at full 28.8.
I noticed that our alpha 1000 (266/4) server (on UNIX 3.2d) only
supports
telnet while emulating. Is rexec a better way of emulating? or is any
other
way even better?
And if rexec is the best way to run my navigator (well and a couple of
other utilities while around!) how can I enable it?
