Hi--
My original question was whether or not it would be possible to install
dUnix with AdvFS filesystems, but have each of root, /usr and /var be a
separate fileset within a single file domain, rather than have each be
the sole fileset member of separate file domains.

Solution: Steven White provided instructions for doing exactly what I wanted,
which essentially involves creating the filesets the way I want using the
boot CD, then doing the install procedure by hand. Carlos A M dos Santos did
a normal install, then vdump'ed/vrestore'ed the OS onto new filesets (taking
care to fix /etc/fdmns and /etc/fstab). However, Tom Blinn pointed out that
DEC would likely not give us much support with that configuration, so in the
end we opted out and used the default setup.
If anybody would like Steven White's instructions, drop me an email and I'll
forward them along.
Thanks,
jonathan
