I recently purchased Digitial Unix and Digital Altavista Firewall to run on
a DEC 3000/300X. I got Unix up with no problem but when I go to install
the firewall it complains about needing v3.2 to run and that I should
upgrade. This problem is no doubt caused by my being on DUnix v4.0b and
the firewall only supporting up to v4.0a.
While I wait for DEC to slowly add these products to support contract I
want to pose this question to the list. Can I make the firewall install
accept 4.0b or can I find 4.0a somewhere? I've never known DEC to sell a
prior release and since 4.0b is the current shipping version I might be
stuck.
Any ideas?
