I have a new 4100 I am trying to get up and running. (4.0b)
After entering the root username and password the CDE start and gives
this message
The DT messaging system could not be started. It then says to check the
host file for correct entry if the network has been configured. If not
configured be sure that
entry- 127.0.0.1 localhost- is in the host file.
It then says to click on OK which logs you out again.
both of the right entries are correct in the host file.
any suggestions on what to try next?
