Started looking at TCPDUMP. Made the pfilt device as it instructed then
tried to do this command:
tcpdump ip host jane (name of our server)
it initialized but showed no packets. I also tried this with just jane
and jane to dns (another server), etc, but always the same. It is reading
from device tu0 (our ethernet card). Am I starting this wrong? This
server gets well over 10 million packets a day. please help. Thanks.
