I'm getting random bus reset errors on two Alpha 1000's. The internal bus on
one is involved, the external on another. I've checked cable length,
connections, etc. The internal bus on one Alpha has only the standard DEC
drives on it, the external on the other has two older Maxtor's, both of which
were running without problems on an Ultrix box prior to this. Both Alphas were
ordered at the same time and configured identically from the factory. Both are
running 3.2C. Are there patches I should be aware of, or should I consider
swapping out the SCSI cards on both? All suggestions welcome. Thanks.
