Hi All,
Sorry for posting this summary again. I posted a question of lpr error
message last weekend. But I did not receive any reply until an hour ago.
Lee from lee_at_rtp3.med.utah.edu suggested me to change lpr permission to
-rws--x--x. I was wondering how to get this "s" set. So I changed the
permission to -rwx--x--x, the problem still remains. I posted a summary
anyway.
Soon, I got four replys from Digital World (I like it). So let me thanks
the following helpers:
"Eric Z. Ayers" <eric_at_compgen.com>
Michele Tomkin <michele_at_garnet.berkeley.edu>
Kirk Rafferty <krafferty_at_worldnet.att.net>
Wing-lok Lee <lee_at_rtp3.med.utah.edu>
The answer is:
chmod u+s lpr
or
chmod 4711 lpr
Now, it works.
