JDK 1.1 for 3.2g?

I notice that the JDK 1.1 at

http://www.unix.digital.com/products/internet/java.html

is ONLY for du 4.0a and 4.0b.

What about previous versions of the OS?(we are 3.2g)

We are part of a University Campus licence, and do not automatically get
updates. Getting the CD's is like pulling teeth, do we have to wait 6-12
months to get the 4.0b update, or is there another way?
