     Hi, Managers

The original question was about a system crash that seemed to occur
     after installing patch DUV32GAS00001-19970328.

4100 systems crashed immediately when starting DECNetOSI upon reboot
but 2100 systems seemed to live a while before crashing. The panic
string and kernel stack trace looked like this:

     "delete_pv_entry: mapping not in pv_list"

     0 boot
     1 panic
     2 delete_pv_entry
     3 pmap_enter
     4 kmem_stack_alloc
     5 stack_alloc
     6 thread_create_internal
     7 procdup
     8 newproc
     9 fork1
     10 fork
     11 syscall

Although such problems are hard to deal with, I got the solution
within only two days from Yaacov Fenster:

"I think that if in the meantime you back out patch #89 in 3.2G
(Kernal Improperly Updates Acct Field Correction) you will solve the
     problem."

     Thanks a lot.

So, Add all patches from the kit but remove the #89.

     Yours,
     Lars Bro (lbro_at_dscc.dk)
