Tandberg MLR technology

Our Novell admin has just committed to tandberg MLR tape
backups(16-32GB), My boss tells me he would like it if we had
"compatible" hardware in this area. I don't know much about
the tandberg MLR system apart from what I read at the web sites,
Does anyone have some experiences(good/bad) with MLR?

We run an AS/2100(4/200 1-cpu) with 128MB and a 12GB pci storageworks
RAID array(DU 3.2g)
