I am running Digital Performance monitor and one of the displays is as below
CPU user nice sys idle wait switch intr scall
#0 75 0- 25
What information can I gather from the labels above to improve the performance on my alpha.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have a Digital Alpha 2100 running INFORMIX online 5.03UC3. with about 100 users one CPU. The performance is terrible. The kernel and database tbconfig parameters are given below. If there is any one who can provide information on how best to tune my Alpha for optimal performance I will be grateful.
TIA Anthony
