inetd.conf

I have a, I hope, simple question but I can't find the answer. If I
make changes in the /etc/inetd.conf file how can I make them take
effect without redooting the system. I have heard something about sending
a SIGHUP signal to it but I don't know how to do that.

Thanks in advance.
