Summary: Using external drive case

Thanks to all for the responses I got and sorry for the late summary.

The result is:
-An Adaptec controller willl not work in an Alpha server.
-I cannot get drive cases for storageworks.
-I cannot extend the SCSI Bus length
-Some DEC Technical support technicians do not have mail readers that can
wrap the text automatically. :)

I have purchased a SCSI controller from DEC to install in the machine and
will use that will controll the external Quantum Hard Disks
