Hello Managers,
Yesterday, I left my account idled on the console, and when I returned 5
hours later, I saw that X window had disappeared and the screen went to
text mode.
I rebooted the machine and logged into my account without problems, but
now I notice that whoever logins to console, the idle column displays some
number. Altough not idled.
Example who command:
10:56 up 13 mins, 3 users, load average: 0.46, 0.18, 0.12
User tty from login_at_ idle JCPU PCPU what
soysert :0 10:56 18:29 /usr/sbin/getty console console vt100
soysert p1 10:56 - (tcsh)
Reboot did not solve the problem.
The other problem:
I cannot log in as root from console now.
It says:
Not authorized for terminal access . See account administrator.
Other users can login from console, but root cannot.
We use DU 3.2c with Enhanced Security enabled.
What can be the solution? Any hints will be appreciated.
Thanks..
Zehra Soysert
