Morning,

Well having not looked into the mailing list archives for the answer, I
fell really silly posting this now. BUt if one checks:

Subject: [Summary] wu-ftpd on DU 3.2C with C2 security

in the mailing list archives, there is a patch to apply to the source
code for proper authentication. Also it helps to read the FAQ on WU-FTPD.
This can be found at:

http://www.cetis.hvu.nl/~koos/wu-ftpd-faq.html

It offers some more patch ups to be made on the Makefile.osf and ftpd.c

Thanks go out to:

Robert Romani <ROMANI_at_mail.dec.com> --> sending me the actual archive

Carlos A M dos Santos <casantos_at_cpmet.ufpel.tche.br> --> for responding
quickly to my cry for help.

my boss --> for handing me the FAQ and the mailing list archive in
hardcopy form, and showing me the errors of my ways :-)

Thanks for listening and helping

Morning,

I am presently working on trying to get wu-ftpd to authenticate with
Digital Unix's C2 to improve the security of our site. Has anyone worked
with them to gethere before ???

What I wish to do is have my users be chroot to their $HOME dirs so they
wont navigate all over our system.

Any help would be appreciated.

thank you
