Compiling samba with libdes on DU 4.0

Hi,

I'm trying to compile samba with des encription option enabled. It just
works fine on my linux box however when I compile it on DU 4.0 the
system complains as if I had entered a wrong password.

I have tried also -DREPLACE_GETPASS and it didn't work. I've noticed
several warnings about signed char to unsigned char conversions. As it
happens many times I was wondering whether a patch is available for
that. Am I right?
