command error

hi all

I totally new in this perl script can somebody help me what is the
problem in my program ,

#!/usr/local/bin/perl

unless (open(infile,"access")){
          die ("file file1 does not exist. \n");
   
actually the result is "command not found".. can somebody help me
what is the problem.Please help me i just a beginner.
