On Tue, 8 Jul 1997, I asked:
> Does anybody have experience with Sony's DAT drives?

William R. Pearson <wrp_at_alpha0.bioch.virginia.edu> answered:

There also was a posting in the German language newsgroup de.comp.sys.next
on Fri, 4 Jul 97 which stated that the HP DATs are the same as Mitsumi
DATs and are of lower quality than the Sony drives.
