Hi,
we are having problems with out Dec alpha (running Digital Unix V4.0B
Rev.564) crashing upon receiving a "next" command (after a breakpoint)
in
gdb-4.16 (the compiler is gcc-2.7.2.2). the system reboots to the >>>
prompt
every time the command is issued. the /var/adm/crash logs show an
'illegal instruction' as the reason for the crash. we are not sure what
to do as we have
the same versions of gdb and gcc running on another Dec (not an alpha)
and
it runs gdb fine. Could this be an operating sytem bug? thanks in
advance for
your help.
