I'm trying to setup up a system to use two 3D30 8-bit display cards.
I upgraded to 4.0B to get the cards working (they were crashing my
system).
I then modified /var/dt/Xservers to include the line
:0 Local local_at_console /usr/bin/X11/X :0 -edge_right0 1 -edge_left 1 0
thinking, from the Xdec server man page, that this would be all that
is needed to have the two displays treated as one very large display.
I then rebooted and confirmed that the Xdec command line really
included the listed options.
Tragically, this is not the case. I still get two displays, but I need
to specify e.g., -display hosed:0.0 and -display hosed:0.1
This is less than happy. Does anyone know if the "two-as-one" option really
works and/or am I mis-reading the man page?
