V4.0A is different from V4.0
Dr. Blinn informed me that it incorporated bug fixes and new hardware
support from V3.2G into the V4.0 codebase; that V4.0B added some enhancements;
and that V4.0C added hardware support for the Personal AlphaStations.
I received no information re the version numbers. However, I've since learned
