Dear Gurus,

Now that I've gone to DU4.0B I can't succeed in booting my VXT2000 tubes...

I tried to use bootpd as before. A look at daemon.log showed:

 Jul 22 10:40:31 genome inetd[374]: /usr/sbin/bootpd: exit status 0x100

Well, since it is stated in /etc/inetd.conf that joind should be used, I
tried it (commented out the tftpd line in inetd.conf, uncommented the joind
line and restarted inetd). Note: I don't use dynamic IP allocation.

Now daemon.log says:

Jul 22 11:25:09 genome joind[16034]: can't find interface which received packet

What puzzles me is that the NCD X-terminals do boot without problems.
The entries for the VXT2000s and the NCDs are similar in /etc/bootptab except
of course for the boot file.

 I'm blocked....

Cheers,

Jean-Loup
